Picloram Tech CAS NO : 1918-02-1
Structure of Picloram:
Chemical Name: 4-amino-3,5,6-trichloropicolinic acid
Molecular Formula: C6H3Cl3N2O2
Molecular Weight: 241.5
Package: 25kg/fibre drum
Mechanism of action:
It is a hormone-type herbicide. It can be absorbed and conducted by the plant leaves, roots and stems. It can be quickly conducted to the growth point, causing the deformity, withering, defoliation, and necrosis of the upper part of the plant, discoloration of xylem catheter due to blockage, eventually leading to death. The mechanism of action is the inhibition of mitochondrial respiratory system and nucleic acid metabolism. Most of gramineous plants are chemical resistant, and most of dicotyledonous crops (except for crucifers), weeds, and shrubs are chemical sensitive.
Uses of Picloram:
